Payments, Charges, and Settlement Policy

This policy defines payment authorization, refund rails, chargeback handling, and settlement controls for secure multi-party marketplace transactions.

Payment Authorization and Confirmation

  • Orders are treated as confirmed only after successful payment authorization and risk checks.
  • Payment failures, duplicate attempts, or timeout errors may require re-verification before fulfillment.
  • Platform reserves the right to block suspicious transactions for fraud prevention.

Refund Rails and Source Priority

  • Refunds are generally sent to original source account; exceptions may apply for COD and failed source routes.
  • COD refunds require a verified payout destination such as UPI ID or bank account.
  • Bank processing timelines vary and are outside direct platform control after refund instruction is submitted.

Chargebacks and Settlement Risk

  • In chargeback, fraud, or legal review scenarios, payouts or seller settlements may be temporarily held.
  • Platform may request documents from buyer or seller to defend payment disputes.
  • Confirmed abuse or policy violation can result in permanent account action and legal escalation.
