Cancellation Policy

Orders can be cancelled before dispatch. Once dispatched, standard return flow applies. HeritageVastra may also cancel orders for security, compliance, or operational reasons.

Customer Initiated Cancellation

  • You can cancel an order from the order page until it reaches dispatched status.
  • As an operational benchmark, orders may be cancelled freely in the initial order placement window before artisan workflow starts.
  • For multi-item orders, cancellation may be available at item level based on fulfillment status.
  • If cancellation is unavailable in the UI, contact support immediately with order ID.

Post-Dispatch Scenarios

  • Orders already dispatched cannot be cancelled and must follow return policy after delivery.
  • Refusal at doorstep may still incur logistics deductions where applicable.
  • If package is visibly tampered, reject delivery and report within 24 hours.

Platform or Seller Cancellation

  • Orders may be cancelled due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, failed verification, or logistics non-serviceability.
  • In such cases, full refund for the cancelled line item is initiated automatically.
  • HeritageVastra reserves the right to run risk checks to protect buyers, sellers, and payment systems.

Made-to-Order and Custom Work

  • Custom or personalized orders cannot be cancelled once artisan production has started.
  • A non-refundable advance may apply for such orders to cover artisan work and raw materials.
  • For approved exceptions, any cancellation after production start may be eligible only for partial refund.
